We design buildings, interiors and furniture from materials that are locally available: be it a gift from nature or a leftover from our society. We use LCA (life cycle assessment) methodology to calculate and reduce the impact that building materials have on the environment in terms of embedded energy and pollution. At the same time we create awareness about the scarcity of our resources.
We not only deal with static architectonical features, but we look at the dynamic system of resources and waste flows: just like in nature you cannot grow a tree if you don’t take into account its interaction with the environment (water, air, sun, soil‚ etc..), we try to design buildings that are part of a bigger eco-system.
